- Safety
In our practice, patient safety is our priority.
We place particular emphasis on the cleanliness of the entire clinic, patient safety during treatment, and the consistency of sterilization and disinfection procedures for instruments. Wherever possible, we use disposable instruments, and we sterilize medical instruments in an autoclave.
The staff at Prodent practices performs surface disinfection and instrument sterilization according to established internal procedures, in compliance with current sanitary inspection guidelines. We always use only certified products from the best manufacturers for disinfection and sterilization processes—Ecolab Henkel, Medispept—meeting the highest safety standards.
All instruments, after preliminary disinfection, are sterilized in a special device—a thermal disinfector from the German company Melag—which effectively removes bacteria, viruses, and fungi. The instruments are then sorted and packed in single-use packages and placed in a Melag autoclave. After the sterilization cycle in the autoclave under pressure and at a temperature of 134 degrees Celsius, the instruments are completely free from all biological contaminants. This ensures that all medical procedures performed at Prodent are completely safe for our patients’ health.

Litemedics Diode Laser
This is a modern device that emits a beam of light, enabling safe and effective work during many procedures involving the soft tissues of the oral cavity.
The diode laser allows for fast and precise action.
In the field of dental surgery, compared to conventional procedures, it allows for precision in performing procedures, reduces bleeding, improves coagulation which reduces the need for sutures in many procedures, and also reduces post-operative swelling.
- exposure of unerupted wisdom teeth,
- exposure of implants,
- removal of fibromas,
- gum contouring—so-called gummy smile correction,
- frenectomy of the upper lip and tongue,
treatment of inflammatory conditions after tooth extraction (dry socket),

In the field of preventive procedures, the laser has a biostimulating effect on soft tissues, increasing their regeneration potential. It accelerates wound healing, eliminates post-operative hypersensitivity, and relieves pain after tooth preparation for crowns. We successfully use the laser therapeutically in:
- treatment of herpes simplex on the lip
- treatment of irritated gums, aphthae
- endodontics for root canal disinfection
- treatment of oral mucosa diseases (biostimulation)
In the field of periodontology, the laser allows for:
- disinfection of pathological gingival pockets
- enables closed curettage procedures
In cosmetic dentistry, the diode laser works excellently during teeth whitening. The laser teeth whitening procedure takes approximately 15 minutes—3 sessions of 5 minutes each where the laser light activates the whitening gel. This procedure is completely painless for the patient, and the best results are achieved when combined with additional at-home tray whitening.
At Prodent, we work using microscopes from leading optics manufacturers in the world. We use them in almost every procedure.
Leica / Carl Zeiss Microscope
The Carl Zeiss and Leica surgical microscopes are excellent dental microscopes providing optimal magnification and LED illumination, and also have filters that allow work with light-sensitive composites.
The greatest innovation is the connection of the microscope with a video camera: this allows for recording complete treatment documentation and also provides the ability to show the patient the course of treatment.
- endodontic treatment under a microscope—thanks to magnification of the imaging field up to 40 times, the endodontist sees every canal, assesses its course, can safely perform root canal treatment under a microscope, widen and seal even the most curved, most difficult canals
- prosthetic treatment under a microscope—tooth preparation for porcelain veneers or zirconia crowns under a surgical microscope allows for ideal preparation precision, excellent fit of the future work, and as a result, work free from discoloration and decay and comfort of use for many years.
- treatment of tooth decay—in conservative dentistry, the dentist can ideally prepare tooth tissues, remove decay, and perfectly and tightly restore the tooth surface with composite.

PLANMECA Pro Max
3D Computed Tomography
All procedures at Prodent are carefully planned and preceded by radiographic diagnostics. Taking appropriate images in the first stage of our work—panoramic radiograph, cone beam computed tomography, temporomandibular joint imaging—enables their analysis and proper diagnosis. This provides safety, high quality of work, and appropriately selected treatment.
In our practice, we use a digital device from Planmeca (a leading manufacturer of these devices in the world). Planmeca Promax 3D allows for excellent high-resolution imaging with minimal exposure dose. The examination performed can be subjected to graphic processing, which allows for very detailed diagnostics and treatment planning—orthodontic, implantological, prosthetic, and endodontic.
Thanks to working with Planmeca Promax 3D, we always ensure high patient safety, because the system is characterized by minimal radiation dose emission and short exposure time; appropriate selection of these parameters allows for a high level of safety for both adults and children. Digital recording of images allows for fast workflow in the practice and during cooperation with the laboratory or when specialist consultation is necessary.

Raypex 6 Apex Locator
This is a small electrical device used during endodontic treatment. It allows for measurement of root canal length with 95% precision using measurement of resistance differences between oral cavity tissues. It is an essential device allowing for precise and safe work during root canal treatment under a microscope; it can be used in the treatment of all patients, including pregnant women and children. Thanks to working with an apex locator, root canal treatment at Prodent is always completed with tight and complete filling of canals with flowable gutta-percha, which guarantees no pain and inflammation.

Prosthetic Work Control
OccluSense by Bausch
OccluSense is a unique electronic device that quickly and painlessly records static and dynamic occlusal contacts. It is used to control occlusion before and after prosthetic work; the image obtained during the examination is visible on the computer screen and is saved in the patient's documentation. Thanks to the use of the OccluSense recorder, which digitally controls the forces of interocclusal contacts, the dentist can make appropriate corrections after which the patient feels ideal chewing comfort.
Control of prosthetic work using OccluSense guarantees that porcelain crowns and veneers made at Prodent will serve our patients trouble-free for many years.

Pain-Free Procedures
The Wand / Sleeper One
Patient comfort is our priority, which is why for many years we have been using Sleeper One and The Wand computer-controlled anesthesia as standard during procedures.
These devices have a special applicator that does not resemble an anesthesia syringe at all. The built-in computer adjusts not only the dose of the anesthetic agent but also the speed of its delivery, which completely eliminates the feeling of pain and pressure. The patient does not experience discomfort during anesthesia application; in fact, they do not even feel the moment of medication delivery.
Patients with dental phobia, those sensitive to pain, and children are delighted with the effect of using computer-controlled anesthesia.

Teeth Whitening Lamp
Beyond Lamp
This is a specially designed lamp for teeth whitening, using halogen light that activates the whitening gel to remove pigment particles from tooth tubules. The emitted light is completely safe for the patient.
Before proceeding with whitening, the teeth are cleaned of tartar and deposits, sandblasted to remove deeper discolorations. Next, the initial tooth color is determined, and then the gums are protected with a special preparation; the dentist or hygienist then applies the whitening gel to the tooth surface. Under the influence of the lamp's light, the gel restores a beautiful bright color to the teeth. The in-office teeth whitening procedure with the lamp takes from 30 to approximately 45 minutes, depending on the degree of tooth discoloration. After the session is completed, we apply preparations to soothe any hypersensitivity and recommend a white diet. Color stabilization and saturation occurs after approximately one week. The effect can be maintained by using at-home whitening trays for a few more days.

Medit i 500
Intraoral Scanner
An intraoral scanner is a modern device that performs scans of the dentition, i.e., images of teeth, gums, tongue, and palate, and presents them on a computer screen as a three-dimensional image. The scanner is currently a basic working tool in leading dental practices. The scanner gives us enormous diagnostic capabilities and shortens treatment time.
Thanks to working with an intraoral scanner, the dentist does not have to use unpleasant impression material; there is no need to insert impression trays into the oral cavity, which is more comfortable for the patient than conventional prosthetics. This is extremely important for many patients, especially those with a strong gag reflex. Digital dentistry is a new, better quality and the ability to reproduce all stages of work from digital files.
- digital smile design
- creation of digital wax-ups
- planning of prosthetic work—crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers
- reproduction of prosthetic foundation and prepared teeth, i.e., DIGITAL IMPRESSIONS
- creation of crowns on implants
- digital registration of occlusal contacts

MILLING MACHINE
IMES ICORE
A milling machine from the renowned German company Imes Icore, a leading manufacturer of CNC machines in the world. The precision of the Imes Icore milling machine allows for the creation of any type of prosthetic restoration (porcelain veneers, zirconia crowns, E-max crowns) with an accuracy of 5 microns. Work milled in Imes Icore is ideally fitted to the tooth, which completely eliminates the possibility of decay development, reproduces ideal anatomical shapes and occlusal contacts, perfect proximal contacts, thanks to which the patient feels great comfort in use (food does not enter interdental spaces, teeth cleaning is easier).
In creating porcelain veneers and other prosthetic work, we use CAD/CAM technology. To obtain a beautiful porcelain veneer, zirconia crown, or work on implants, the dental technician designs the restoration in Exocad computer software; then the resulting STL file is transferred to CAM software—Computer Aided Manufacturing—where it is converted into paths that the milling tool should follow (milling strategy), then sent to the machine (milling machine) and milled.
