The patient presented for the replacement of old prosthetic restorations. After examination and analysis of the performed computed tomography scans, it was determined that all teeth present in the oral cavity unfortunately needed to be extracted due to periodontitis. The patient was offered immediate implantation in the mandible with a simultaneous screw-retained temporary bridge on implants – an “all-on-6” type solution. In the maxilla, however, due to very poor conditions, bilateral sinus lift procedures were performed, followed by implantations and an overdenture supported by a titanium bar several months later.
